14 stats that explain the Bengals' win over the Ravens on 'Thursday Night Football'

The Bengals have secured first place in the AFC North for at least a week after their 34-23 win over the Ravens on ‘Thursday Night Football’. The Bengals actually won back-to-back games by a score of 34-23 and are the NFL’s only 2-0 team... for now.

Here are just a few stats that tell the tale of the Bengals’ win over their AFC North foes in Week 2.

34: The number of points the Bengals scored in each of the last two weeks. Per ESPN Stats & Info, the last team to score 34 or more points in the first two weeks of the season was the 2013 Broncos team that went to the Super Bowl.

141: Yards for the Bengals in the first quarter, while the Ravens had just 27. The Bengals also had nine first downs to just one for the Ravens.

45: Yards on a second quarter Joe Flacco pass that gave the Ravens some life and led to a 1-yard rushing touchdown for Buck Allen. The Ravens had been trailing 21-0 at the time.

28: Thursday was the first time since 2013 that the Bengals scored 28 points in the first half of a game. The last time they did it was a 42-14 win against the Vikings five years ago.
