UPDATED NFL playoff scenarios for Week 14 | Eagles clinch NFC East; Patriots, Steelers can win division titles

The 2017 NFL season is coming down the stretch.

That means playoff spots are up for grabs.

Entering Week 14, seven teams were eligible to clinch playoff spots.

That list was down to five on Sunday, following the Saints' loss to the Falcons on Thursday night. That loss prevented New Orleans from possibly clinching a playoff berth. It also prevented the Rams from locking up a spot, had they been able to beat the Eagles.

So here's what's at stake Sunday. This post will be updated throughout the day on Sunday as games are completed.

AFC

NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS (10-2) at Miami (5-7), Monday night

New England clinches AFC East division with:

1. NE win or tie 

UPDATE: The Patriots could have clinched the division title if the Bills lost to the Colts. But Buffalo won, 13-7, in overtime.

PITTSBURGH STEELERS (10-2) vs. Baltimore (7-5), Sunday night

Pittsburgh clinches AFC North division with:

1. PIT win or tie

UPDATE: The Steelers could have clinched a playoff berth with a loss by the Bills. But Buffalo's overtime win took that off the table.

JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS (9-4) vs. Seattle (8-5), Jaguars def. Seahawks, 30-24

UPDATE: The Jaguars could have clinched a playoff berth with a win over the Seahawks, along with help from several teams. But the Bills' overtime win eliminated that scenario.

NFL Week 14 picks, predictions

NFC

PHILADELPHIA EAGLES (11-2) at Los Angeles Rams (9-4), Eagles def. Rams, 43-35

UPDATE: The Eagles clinched the NFC East division title with their 43-35 win over the Los Angeles Rams. 

MINNESOTA VIKINGS (10-3) at Carolina (9-4), Panthers def. Vikings, 31-24

UPDATE: The Vikings could have won the NFC North division title with a win over the Carolina Panthers. But the Vikings lost, 31-24. The Vikings also could have won the division title if both the Lions and Packers lost. But both Detroit and Green Bay won.

LOS ANGELES RAMS (9-4) vs. Philadelphia (11-2),  Eagles def. Rams, 43-35

UPDATE: Los Angeles had a chance to clinch a playoff berth with a win against the Eagles, but that ended when the Falcons beat the Saints on Thursday night.

NEW ORLEANS SAINTS (9-4) at Atlanta (8-5), Falcons def. Saints, 20-17

UPDATE: New Orleans had a chance to clinch a playoff berth with a win against the Falcons, but that ended when Atlanta won, 20-17.
