U.S. skier Lindsey Vonn injured her back Saturday during a World Cup Super-G race in St. Moritz, Switzerland.
As you can see from the video, Vonn looked tentative on the course and collapsed to the snow after crossing the finish line with a time that put her in 24th place, 1.56 seconds behind winner Jasmine Flury of Switzerland:

The Associated Press reports that Vonn limped slowly to a waiting car about an hour after the race. However, her father told the AP she was “okay.” An update on her condition is expected later Saturday.
Vonn is hoping to compete in her fourth Olympics in February in PyeongChang, South Korea. She has 77 World Cup titles, the most by a female skier, but just two Olympic medals, both won at the 2010 Vancouver Games. She missed the 2014 Sochi Olympics entirely with a right knee injury suffered during a training crash.
Earlier this week, Vonn drew attention by saying she would not be visiting the Trump White House with the rest of her Olympic teammates after the Games.
“I hope to represent the people of the United States, not the president,” she told CNN. “I take the Olympics very seriously and what they mean and what they represent, what walking under our flag means in the opening ceremonies. And, you know, I want to represent our country well, and I don’t think there are a lot of people currently in our government that do that.”
When asked by CNN’s Christina Macfarlane if she would accept an invitation to the White House should she win an Olympic medal, Vonn replied: “Absolutely not. Nope. But I have to win to be invited, so — no, actually, I think every U.S. team member is invited. So, no, I won’t go.”
