Kepa’s signing will allow Chelsea to sell Courtois with Kovacic expected to arrive on loan as part of the deal

Kepa Arrizabalaga will arrive in London today for a medical before completing a move to Chelsea.

The west London club have paid the £71.6 million release clause to Athletic Bilbao, which makes him the most expensive goalkeeper in history. He is expected to sign a five-year contract.

His arrival would mean that Chelsea can sell Thibaut Courtois to Real Madrid for about £31 million with Mateo Kovacic expected to move to London on loan as part of the deal.
