UCLA quarterback Josh Rosen, a projected No. 1 pick in the 2018 NFL draft, isn't so keen on being a top pick if it means he's playing for the "wrong team."

Speaking to ESPN on Tuesday before the Bruins lost to Kansas State in the Cactus Bowl without him due to a concussion, the signal caller said: "I'd rather be a lower pick at the right team than a higher at the wrong team."

Depending on interpretations of "wrong team," Rosen could be heavily implying he doesn't want to play for the Cleveland Browns, who secured the top overall pick in the 2018 NFL draft following a 20-3 loss to the Bears on Christmas.

ESPN also reported Sunday that Rosen might consider returning to UCLA for his senior season if it becomes clear that the Browns are poised to pick him No. 1. Earlier in the week, while discussing players skipping bowl games in order to not jeopardize their future, Rosen said: “Players are just starting to realize that they have a lot of power and they don’t need to be exploited when it’s to their detriment.”

The 0-15 Browns are expected to finish the 2017 campaign winless, concluding their season on Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers on the road. Cleveland had the top pick in the 2017 draft as well, taking defensive end Myles Garrett.
