Cowboys' Dez Bryant played through tendonitis without treatment, report says

Dez Bryant admitted he has been playing through tendonitis since Week 9, and it's a safe bet that the Cowboys didn't even know about the injury.

According to ProFootballTalk, the Dallas receiver hasn't received treatment from the tendonitis, which means it was not shared with the league.

It wasn't disclosed where the tendonitis is, but it's speculated that it's in his knee.

“See, that’s the thing. No, I have not (been healthy)," Bryant told reporters. "I have not. I’ve been dealing with my tendonitis, and I’m shocked that none of you guys didn’t know anything about that. I have, I’ve been dealing with injuries. I’m a warrior, I consider myself a warrior. If I can walk, I can move, I’m going to go out there and try to play. It’s probably dumb.

"But hey, that’s just who I am. I love this game and I try to push it. But for the most part, yeah … I have been pretty banged up.”

If Bryant kept his tendonitis under wraps, there is a good chance that not even the Cowboys knew of his condition.

Despite posting 814 passing yards and scoring six touchdowns in 15 games, Bryant and the rest of the Cowboys are out of playoff contention with an 8-7 record.
