It seems to be a matter of when, not if, the Giants will fire head coach Ben McAdoo -- a decision that should be painfully obvious to co-owner and CEO John Mara after the Giants' embarrassing loss to the San Francisco 49ers.
It is clear the Giants need a major change. They need a new head coach, and they need that new head coach to groom their quarterback of the future as the Giants move on from Eli Manning.
When the Giants begin the search, it should start and end with Eagles quarterback coach John DeFilippo.
Here is why DeFilippo would be the perfect selection:

EAGLES KNEW THE BLUEPRINT NEEDED
To start, the Giants should learn from the maneuvers the Eagles made less than two years ago.
In 2015, when the Eagles decided to fire head coach Chip Kelly with one game to play in the season, they did so knowing they were in desperate need of a change, and that change needed to start in the quarterback room, from top to bottom.
