Check out Amari Cooper's 90-yard touchdown for the Dallas Cowboys

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Amari Cooper scored two touchdowns in 4:37 of the third quarter against the Washington Redskins on Thursday, with the second TD covering 90 yards.

The former Alabama All-American caught a pass from quarterback Dak Prescott at about the Washington 30-yard line and outran the Redskins defense to complete the longest reception of his career in the end zone.

Cooper's 90-yard touchdown came with 2:10 left in the third quarter of the Thanksgiving game as the Cowboys went ahead 24-13.

Dallas had trailed earlier in the period when Cooper caught a 40-yard touchdown pass from Prescott as the Cowboys took a 17-13 lead. As with the 90-yarder, most of the yardage came after Cooper caught the football.

Cooper's previous longest reception had been an 87-yarder in last year's regular-season finale with the Oakland Raiders.

The Raiders traded Cooper to the Cowboys in exchange for a first-round draft choice on Oct. 22.

In his three previous games with Dallas, Cooper had 14 receptions for 169 yards and one touchdown. He headed into the fourth quarter of Thursday's game with seven receptions for 176 yards and two touchdowns against the Redskins.
