NBA Free Agency 2018: Top remaining NBA free agents

LeBron James and DeMarcus Cousins may have already signed, but there are still quality free agents available on the market.

LeBron and Cousins made headlines at the beginning of free agency by changing teams. LeBron bolted the Cleveland Cavaliers for the Los Angeles Lakers while Cousins left the New Orleans Pelicans for the defending NBA champion Golden State Warriors. While the Lakers were a rumored destination for LeBron for awhile, the Cousins-to-Warriors transaction came out of left field and was quite the response to Los Angeles' major acquisition of the four-time MVP.

Former free agents Kevin Durant and Chris Paul were also re-signed by their current teams at the beginning of free agency, with Durant agreeing to terms on a 1+1 deal with Paul agreeing to a massive four-year, $160 million deal.

While the big names are gone, there are 13 major free agents still on the market. While the major free agents have already changed teams, there are former All-Stars and NBA champions still on the free agent market. Which means that there are quality guys out there that can still be scooped up by championship contenders and make a difference down the road.

Remember, it's only July 5 and we're only four days into free agency. After all, LeBron James didn't announce his return to the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2014 until July 11, 10 days after free agency began.

There are still difference-makers to be hard this "deep" into the free agency period.

According to James Herbert of CBS Sports, here are the top remaining free agents on the market in no particular order.
