The NFL's scouting combine has become known for off-the-wall and even infamous questions posed by teams to draft prospects over the years. Former LSU running back Derrius Guice’s admission to SiriusXM radio Wednesday night that he was asked about his sexuality last week in Indianapolis is just the latest in a series of recent offensive queries incoming players have heard during the pre-draft process.

— Two years ago, current Giants cornerback Eli Apple said he was asked by an Atlanta assistant whether he was gay. Falcons coach Dan Quinn later apologized to Apple and said he spoke to then-secondary coach secondary coach Marquand Manuel “and explained to him how inappropriate and unprofessional this was.”

— Former Colorado tight end Nick Kasa was asked whether he was attracted to women at the combine. “Every team asked, ‘Do you have a girlfriend? Do you have a wife? Do you have children?’ " Kasa said in 2013. “Maybe a couple guys kinda joked at the fact of, like, ‘What's your situation with girls?’ But it was kind of a joke. I did not feel uncomfortable.”

—  Also at the 2013 combine, current Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell admitted to fielding similar questions about his sexuality. “Yeah, there were questions just like that,” Bell said in a radio interview that year. “There were definitely a couple weird questions. I got asked so many of them, I don’t remember them all. But that was definitely a couple questions I got asked.”

— In 2010, current Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant said then-Dolphins general manager Jeff Ireland asked whether Bryant's mother was a prostitute. “No, my mom is not a prostitute,” Bryant told Yahoo! Sports at the time. “I got mad — really mad — but I didn't show it. I got a lot of questions like that: Does she still do drugs? I sat and answered all of them.” Ireland later apologized to Bryant.

— According to ESPN, Cam Newton was asked by an AFC North team psychologist whether he viewed himself more as a cat or as a dog. “When he suggested that the question was not relevant and that he saw himself more as a human being, he was immediately asked whether he had a problem with authority,” the article read.

— Former defensive end Austen Lane posted a series of messages on Twitter in 2016 about odd questions he fielded at the 2010 combine. Among them:

► “A scout at the combine asked me if I thought my mother was attractive.”

► “A scout at the combine asked me... ‘If you could kill someone and not get caught, would you?’ ”

► “A scout at the combine asked me ‘boxers or briefs.' "

► “A scout asked me at the combine if I had to murder someone: Would I use a gun or a knife?”

— Also in 2010, now-Buccaneers defensive tackle Gerald McCoy told NFL Network: “Someone asked me if I wore a g-string or a jock strap when I played.”

— Per Gannett Louisiana, former running back Jacob Hester, a third-round pick by San Diego in 2008, said he was asked by the Lions during the combine if he had ever cheated on his wife.

— According to NFLDraftScout.com analyst Dane Brugler, current Jets defensive end Obum Gwacham was asked in 2015: "When did you lose your virginity?”

— Also this year, Texas punter Michael Dickson said the Seahawks made an odd request during their 15-minute interview: A staring contest. “I had a couple of attempts," said Dickson. "I tried a few techniques, looking away from the light, trying to block any sort of wind coming into the eyes. That was a weird process.”
