The Los Angeles Rams have swung yet another trade to reshape their defense.

The team agreed to acquire cornerback Aqib Talib from the Denver Broncos in a trade Thursday, a person with knowledge of the deal told USA TODAY Sports' Mike Jones. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to disclose the deal, which had not been made official.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and James Palmer were the first to report the trade.

Talib, 32, is a five-time Pro Bowl selection, the last four of which came with the Broncos. He has been a key piece of Denver's "No Fly Zone" secondary and a dominant defense that helped lead the team to a Super Bowl title in the 2015 season.

He was set to make $11 million in 2018.

The Rams, who will be the fourth team of Talib's career, have already been aggressive in the trading market. They agreed to acquire cornerback Marcus Peters from the Kansas City Chiefs and later moved to send pass rusher Robert Quinn to the MDolphins and linebacker Alec Ogletree to the New York Giants.
