
On Monday of the National Championship between Alabama and Georgia, the College Football Hall of Fame Class of 2018 was announced, and this year’s list has some pretty big names. Former Texas Longhorns head coach Mack Brown will be inducted, as well legendary Virginia Tech head coach Frank Beamer. Ed Reed, Calvin Johnson, and Charles Woodson are also in this year’s class. The full list of names is below.

Beamer, who just retired from coaching two seasons ago, finished his career with a 238-131 record over 29 seasons in Blacksburg. At Texas, Brown went 158-48, with the Longhorns winning the BCS National Championship in 2005 with Vince Young.
Michigan’s Woodson beat out Peyton Manning and Randy Moss for the 1997 Heisman Trophy.
Johnson is considered to be one of the best Georgia Tech players in school history, having a school-record 2,927 receiving yards from 2004-06, and he went on to have a successful nine-year career with the Detroit Lions.
Reed played at Miami from 1998-2001, and he holds Miami’s record for career interceptions with 21, and he was a part of the Canes’ 2001 national title team.
Collins played quarterback for the 1994 national championship Penn State team, and Cobb won the 1991 Doak Walker Award at Rice.
Howard will join 16 other former Illinois players with his induction, as well.
