Charges against Georgia linebacker Natrez Patrick will be dropped, his attorney told ESPN Thursday.
The arrest was Patrick’s third drug related arrest after being arrested for another misdemeanor drug charge earlier this season which led to suspension. A junior from Atlanta, Patrick faced dismissal from the team ahead of the Rose Bowl matchup against the Oklahoma Sooners.
According to the ESPN report, the Winder district attorney’s office also dropped DUI charges against Stanley during a hearing Thursday at Barrow County. Stanley agreed to plead guilty to misdemeanor possession of marijuana and speeding.
